Washing Instructions
Water temperature: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Cold water prevents the fine Airlume cotton fibers from locking up and tightening, preserving the garment's drape and fit.
Turn it inside out: Always wash the shirt inside out. This shields the delicate, smooth print face from friction caused by rough textures like zippers or heavy seams from other items, preventing surface fuzzing (pilling).
Detergent selection: Use a mild liquid detergent. Skip fabric softeners; chemical softeners can weigh down a light 4.2 oz fabric, reducing breathability and making it more prone to visible sweat absorption.
Tear-away label care: The shirt comes with a tear-away tag. If you plan to pull it out for custom rebranding or comfort, do it while the shirt is dry and before it goes into the wash to prevent the neckline stitching from fraying during agitation.
Drying Instructions
Air dry (Highly Recommended): Lay the T-shirt completely flat or hang it inside out on a plastic hanger away from open, sunny windows. Bypassing the machine dryer entirely preserves the shoulder-to-shoulder taping shape and stops the collar from wrinkling.
Tumble dry low: If you need to use a machine, dry on a low-heat/delicate setting. Pull the shirt out right before it's bone-dry to minimize static cling and avoid stiffening the fibers.
