Quad hockey skate profiles are built for skaters who want the blade to respond quickly underfoot. They emphasize fast edge engagement, strong acceleration, and a connected feel that makes cuts, transitions, and direction changes feel more immediate. Best for skaters who want: quicker cuts, faster acceleration, strong edge feedback, and a more responsive feel. You may like Quad if you’re thinking: “I want my skates to feel quicker.” Availability: Quad 3XS → XXS → XS → 0 → 0.5 → I → II We perform all profiling on the SSM Profile Machine. After profiling, the steel will need to be sharpened to a specified hollow. In most cases, we can do both profiling and sharpening for next-day pickup.
