    Washing Instructions

    • First wash caution: Wash this hoodie completely on its own or with matching colors for the first few cycles. Pigment dyes inherently release loose surface molecules initially and will bleed onto lighter garments.

    • Water temperature: Machine wash cold using a gentle cycle. Cold water minimizes color running and keeps the pure cotton fibers intact.

    • Inside out: Turn the hoodie inside out before tossing it into the machine. This reduces friction on the fabric's surface and protects any personalized prints.

    • Detergent: Use a mild, bleach-free detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as they chemically strip the distinct dye variations and damage the cotton threads.


    Drying Instructions

    • Tumble dry: Tumble dry on low heat or a low-cycle setting, then remove immediately to reduce deep fabric creases.

    • Shrinkage: Comfort Colors items are pre-shrunk during the intense manufacturing dye process, meaning they will experience "almost no shrinkage" at home. However, consistent exposure to high dryer heat will eventually shrink the natural cotton fibers.

    • Air dry: For maximum color vibrancy, hang-dry or lay flat in a shaded area away from direct sunlight.
