Washing Instructions
Water temperature: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Cold water protects the Airlume cotton fibers from tightening and shrinking.
Inside out: Turn the hoodie inside out before tossing it into the drum. This simple step minimizes friction against other garments, keeping the brushed interior plush and preventing fuzz balls (pilling) on the exterior.
Detergent: Use a mild, non-chlorine liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners entirely; chemical softeners coat the synthetic polyester fibers in the fleece blend, flattening the soft interior nap and reducing its breathability over time.
Load management: Wash with similar weights and colors. Heavy denim zippers or rough Velcro from other clothes can easily snag or abrade the smooth, printable exterior face.
Drying Instructions
Air dry (Highly Recommended): Lay the hoodie flat on a drying rack or hang it inside out away from direct heat sources. Air drying completely bypasses heat-induced shrinkage and keeps the thick, double-layered hood perfectly shaped.
Tumble dry: If you must use a dryer, select the lowest heat/delicate setting. Pull the hoodie out while it is still slightly damp to prevent the fleece from stiffening.
