Washing Instructions (Hand Wash Only)
Spot clean first: For minor dirt or surface dust, skip the soak. Dip a soft cloth or a soft-bristled toothbrush into a mix of cold water and a drop of mild dish soap or laundry detergent, and gently dab or scrub the spots in a circular motion.
The soak setup: For a deep clean, fill a clean sink or bucket with cool water and mix in one tablespoon of mild, bleach-free liquid laundry detergent. Submerge the hat entirely, and gently press down on the foam front to let the soapy water absorb without crushing or bending the structured panel. Soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
Sweatband care: The inner sweatband traps the most oil and sweat. Use a soft toothbrush with a small dab of detergent to gently scrub around the interior band to lift salt rings and discoloration before rinsing.
Rinsing: Run cold tap water over the hat until all soap suds are completely washed away. Do not wring, twist, or squeeze the foam front or the 8-row stitched pre-curved visor, as this will permanently crack or warp the internal structure.
Drying Instructions
Never use heat: Keep the hat completely away from clothes dryers, hair dryers, or direct hot sunlight. Heat shrinks polyester mesh, deforms the plastic adjustable snapback, and melts the adhesive holding the foam lamination together.
Maintain the 4" high crown: Gently pat the hat with a dry towel to absorb surface water. To keep the high-profile crown from collapsing, stuff the inside of the hat with a small, rolled-up towel, an upside-down bowl, or a plastic hat form. Air-dry it indoors in a well-ventilated space.
