Washing Instructions
Machine wash setup: If using a washing machine, always place the beanie inside a mesh laundry bag. This shields the textured waffle knit from rubbing against abrasive clothing elements like zippers, buttons, or Velcro.
Water temperature: Machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle or delicate cycle. High heat can weaken acrylic polymers, causing the hat to permanently lose its elasticity.
Detergent: Use a mild liquid laundry detergent. Skip the fabric softener; softeners can build up a film inside the porous waffle recesses, crushing the weave's natural volume and lowering its thermal efficiency.
Hand-washing alternative (Highly Recommended): If your beanie features sensitive custom branding, submerge it in a bucket of cold water mixed with a teaspoon of mild detergent. Gently massage the fabric for a few minutes, rinse thoroughly with clean cold water, and press the excess water out against the side of the basin. Never wring or twist the beanie, as this will distort the 4-top-seam shape
Drying Instructions
Lay flat to dry: The safest approach is to lay the beanie completely flat on a clean towel or a mesh drying rack. Avoid hanging it by a clip while soaking wet, as gravity can stretch the 11.5" length out of proportion.
Tumble dry minimally: If you must use a machine dryer, tumble dry on a low-heat/air-fluff cycle. Pull it out while it is slightly damp to air dry the rest of the way.
Keep away from heat: Never use a hair dryer or high machine heat, and keep it out of direct sunlight while drying to protect the colorways from natural UV fading.
