Washing Instructions
First wash isolation: Wash these sweatpants completely separately from all other laundry for their first few cleanings. The heavy pigment dye will transfer onto lighter materials, upholstery, or backpacks if allowed to rub while damp.
Water temperature: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Cold water keeps the cotton weave stable and anchors the garment-dyed surface color.
Flip inside out: Always turn the sweatpants inside out before loading them into the machine. This shields the premium 100% cotton face from friction, prevents premature fading along the seams, and protects the exterior face if you plan on adding custom leg prints.
Secure the hardware: Knot the drawcords loosely before washing to prevent them from slipping out of the waistband. The drawcords feature premium metal tipping, which can clatter aggressively or scrape the wash drum if left to swing freely.
Detergent rules: Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and chlorine bleach; softeners coat the fleece, flattening the premium 3-end loft and breaking down the garment's natural dye look.
Drying Instructions
Tumble dry low: Tumble dry on low heat or on a delicate cycle. These joggers are tightly spun and engineered to stay under a low 5% to 7% shrinkage rate, but high heat will force the heavy cotton fibers to constrict.
Air-dry option: To best preserve the vintage shade and the elastic waistband/cuffs, hang the pants inside out to dry indoors, away from direct sunlight.
